Common sense of vacuum heat treatment

1. When disposing of titanium alloy in vacuum furnace, it is not suitable to use nitrogen as a cooling gas, because titanium and nitrogen react at high temperature, forming golden yellow titanium nitride.
2. Some of the vacuum furnace activity connections are all O-ring sealing connections, and some of them are cooled by water.
3. When the workpiece is quenched under vacuum, vacuum quenching oil should be used, which has a low full vapor pressure.
4. The protection of the vacuum furnace should be in the state of vacuum or pure nitrogen to prevent inhalation and moisture absorption when not in use.
5. The pressure rise rate of domestic vacuum furnace should not be greater than 1.33Pa/h, and the specification of some foreign companies is 0.67Pa/h
6. Vacuum heating is mainly radiation, and the workpiece is roughly maintained in the furnace.
7. During the heating process, the workpiece and the data in the furnace will be deflated, so that the vacuum degree will be reduced.
8. The heating temperature of vacuum tempering, vacuum annealing, vacuum solution disposal and vacuum aging is usually the same as the heating temperature of conventional disposal.
9. The vacuum tempering furnace probably has fast cooling equipment. The pressure of the cooling water is probably greater than 0.2Mpa, and the flow rate should be adjustable.
10. Cooling gas: 99.995% pure nitrogen is usually used for steel, 99.999% nitrogen or argon is used for superalloys, and 99.995% argon is used for titanium alloys.
11. Heating: After putting in the workpiece, it is usually pre-pumped to 6.67Pa before heating up
